The Turn I Can't Explain

I don't talk about this with my family so I'm putting it here instead. Driving home from a late shift in Madison, I took a wrong turn I've taken a hundred times before without thinking, except this time something nudged me toward it, a pull I didn't question at the moment, and it kept me off a road where, I found out the next morning, a bad accident happened at almost the exact time I would have been there. I can't explain the nudge. I wasn't tired or distracted. Something moved my hands on the wheel before I decided anything, and I still don't know what.
