Caught on the Roof

A neighbor on my crew told me about this site, said I should post the roof thing since I bring it up enough anyway. Twenty years on construction crews, not a guy who spends much time thinking about stuff I can't put my hands on. Was up three stories, foot slipped on a wet shingle, the kind of slip that should've ended on the pavement below. Something caught me, not a person, nothing I could see, just felt a grip under my arm that wasn't there anymore when I looked for it. Crew on the ground said I just stumbled and caught myself, nothing worth mentioning from where they were standing. From up on that roof it's the most important thing that's ever happened to me.
