Six Months

My coworker Denise kept telling me I should put this somewhere, so here it is. Three years ago a doctor sat me down and gave me six months. I'm still here, obviously, or I wouldn't be typing this. I'm not going to tell you angels showed up or I had some vision, because that's not what happened to me. What happened is I prayed harder than I've ever prayed about anything, the kind of praying you only do when you've run out of other options, and something in my body changed that nobody in a white coat can explain. They've stopped trying. I know what got me here even if I can't prove it on paper.
